The current energy grids will collapse in the next few years due to their method of topology and the inability of energy companies to adopt new service models, so the future will need new energy supply concepts.

 

In this near future we are building, energy supply will tend to be more granular and autonomous so that each one of us handles the balance between what is generated and what is used, this way, each one of us is going to be responsible for the efficiency of their energy behavior.  

 

This will give individuals the possibility of cutting off the dependence from big energy grids to choose more autonomous, efficient and democratic systems, and each one will be able to decide on generation and consumption of their own energy.
