Wai Energy was born in response to a clear need of the market, indicating that efficiency in which energy is generated, distributed and consumed must be improved. After many years working in energy areas of the telecommunications market, we understood that a change was necessary in the way things were done regarding energy.

 

This need of change is still dormant in the market, but large corporations seek to delay this due to how comfortable they are with the market status quo, that is why we understand that the only way to generate change is by seeking disruptive technology and innovative business models to give users the answer to this change we all need.

In 2015, the United Nations defined 17 goals for the sustainable development of the planet and its population, in addition to an agenda for 2030, and in Wai Energy we believe that the sustainable goals posed by the UN are the best beacon we can have at this time to improve in all possible aspects. This is how, from our place as a company and part of the society, we want to align, for our daily operations, with 7 of the 17 goals that have been set.
